Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has joined Cristiano Ronaldo as the only two players in footballing history to score at least 25 goals in 12 seasons across Europe's top five leagues. The Argentine legend reached the landmark in Barcelona's 5-2 win over Getafe when he scored two stunning goals.
Messi found the back of the net twice in the first half of the encounter before teeing up Ronald Araujo to head a contest-settling fourth Barcelona goal and then playing in Antoine Griezmann to win a late penalty.
